You might have to hit refresh to see it, but the Panda-Cam is now fully operational, and ready to destroy any planets that stray into it's path. I should mention though, the correct address for the link mentioned is www.GirlGeniusOnline.com

A webcam is something I've wanted to do since the very first strip, 2 1/2 years ago, but have been too lazy to accomplish till now. The basic layout was stealth-ely stolen from Joe and Monkey. Let's see if he notices...

At the very least this should give me a reason to start using my camera again. I tote the damned thing around with me everywhere, but rarely power it up. This must change. I may also start posting a form of mini-comic if I can get around to doing such a thing. In any case, you can expect to see work-in-progress shots from time to time.

And I'm off again!

Hey hey, sorry about the lack of ranting and all, but I've been a bit busy getting rid of the massive piles of paperwork that seemed to be overtaking our kitchen. Apparently there are these things called "bills", and if you don't open them, slip a piece of paper in there, and mail it back, they send you more of them. Bigger ones...

We're gonna try out a nifty new feature for the site later tonight, so check back to see if it worked.

2 comics you should be reading, and that I keep forgetting to mention.

Iron Circus - Spike rocks, and her comics do too. She's got three comics going now, going on four. They're all kickass, and with some seriously awesome coloring. Man, I would kill for that coloring ability.

Paradigm Shift - A very intricately drawn manga set here in Chicago. I admittedly lost track of this one when I stopped reading the ever difficult to browse "Modern Tales", but I've started up again recently. The current stuff is for MT subscribers, but you can read the first book for free. I don't have any idea how he's gonna put the current strips into a book, they're one of the best uses of "infinite canvas" I've seen. Rockin'

Added a webcam at the request of Eric. If you think it looks like the one on Joe&Monkey, you're right, that's where Eric got the idea.

I was told by a friend of mine that I'm probably the first person to ever use "shout out" and "Fermilab" together... I just couldn't think of an equivalent, so you get trl. heh

In response to an email that Eric got recently, I wanted to give a shout out to our readers at Fermilab. This place is friggin' sweet, they've got the most powerful particle accelerator in the world. I remember I visited there once when I was a kid, and that my dad accidentlly drove into a restricted area. Nothing happened, I just thought it was funny as hell. I can only begin to comprehend some of the stuff they do there, so needless to say, you all rock!
