Heh, this is fucking fantastic. Did I mention Madsen wrote an intro for the book? I probably should put that on the preorder page...

Speaking of the preorders, we forgot about a little thing called "shipping". But that's ok, since what we decided is that ALL preorders are going to get free shipping anyway. After the end of the month though, there'll be an extra buck or two attached for that. So don't wait!

Incidently, I'm feeling much better. Whatever I had seems to have dissapated, and I no longer here the world as a robotic chorus.

I kinda miss my robot world...

Been dealing with what looks to be some kind of wierd ear infection or some such since late yesterday. Everything I hear seems to be through some wierd robot filter, with some kind of whistling background reverb. The more base, the bigger the reverb. Everything else has what I'm calling "a shiny echo". It really sucks, cause I'm finding it difficult to listen to music, which makes it difficult to concentrate on drawing.

So it looks like I may have to switch things around, work on the book commentary again, and work on the strips on Saturday.

Thanks to everyone who preordered yesterday, things are looking mighty promising here. I'm going to try to get the cover drawn over the weekend, so you can get a better idea what the thing will look like when finished.

Oh, and Sam & Fuzzy reminded me what the other thing was I was going to mention yesterday. Lego Star Wars ROCKS! Penny Arcade said last week something about the future of his 10-year-old sefl had arrived, in referance to the PSP. I agree there, but I have to say this game is more in line with that sentiment. I was building x-wings, and using broken space antennas as lightsabers when I was 10. This game IS the future arrived as far as I'm concerned.

Just to illustrate how good it is, 46 of the 52 (FIFTY-TWO!) playable characters are from the damned prequels. The levels are virtually ALL from the same three movies, and with one or two exceptions, the minikits you build are also gleaned from the same source. But it's done so well, I didn't care. These characters are a blast to play. Best of all, since they did this trilogy first, when they do the real trilogy it should be about as polished and expansive as one could possibly hope for.

Mmmm, future...

Saw Sin City last night. That movie was simply awesome. I haven't been much of a Robert Rodriguez fan since he started making those thrice-damned Spy Kids movies, but this was a fun, fun movie.

I had something else I wanted to mention, but I can't remember it right now.

Just remember if you're planning to buy the book, preordering in the next week would be greatly appreciated. I really need to get an idea how much of this needs to come from what pocket, and advance orders really help. Thanks to all that have already ordered, you rock!
