Not surprisingly I've recieved a number of emails on both sides of the fence comdemning and praising this particular strip.

Let me just clarify something. These characters exist in a fantasy world. A Warner Bros. world where a character can bouce around as a disembodied head with no real harm done. So don't tell me I'm endorsing the wholesale slaughter of conservatives. I'm a pacifist by nature, these characters aren't.

The message being sent here is not anti-republican, it's an expression of my frustration that people still blindly support Bush, confident he'll somehow stop making a mess of things. It's frustration that people still believe all the things Bush tells them.

I have no intention of making this a political strip. That does not mean I won't be political from time to time, the strip is my way of expressing my ideas, thoughts, and feelings. And if you think I'm worried about my readership going down because I said something that others might find offensive, you are very much mistaken. Art is subjective, and it is the artists right and responsibility to keep true to themselves.

In my opinion, Bush needs to go. He has made a colossal mess and I have no confidence in his ability to turn things around. You can disagree with me all you want, but it's not going to dissuade me form posting my opinions in the medium I choose. I want what is best for this country, and I believe that most of you do as well. Our viewpoints may well be different, but we can still find common ground. In the case of Bush however, more than half the country disagrees with the way he's running things, yet he's still in office.

And people are dying.

It's high time we tried someone else.

I will say that there are republicans who aren't happy with Bush and Cheney's antics. Unfortunately the majority of them still plan to vote like party lemmings.

Frankly if you're still planning to cast your vote for Bush, then you obviously haven't been paying attention the past four years. There's really nothing to debate on the subject of Bush's incompetancy. It's like debating whether the sun is hot. The man is an idiot, a fool, and a blight on our history. I'm by no means a huge fan of Kerry's, but Bush seriously needs to go.

VOTE RESPONSIBLY!!!.
