To those of you bothered by gore, I'm terribly sorry. And be ready for much much more to come. I just got lazy and didn't draw the innards this time :P

There are a couple of things I keep forgetting to mention. Both have to do with our recent trip to San Diego

First off, we spent an entire day at the zoo. And while that should have been obvious enough that I won't bore you wiht the zlideshow of zebras and giraffes we saw en masse, there is one fairly relevant thing we saw.

The cub in the tree turned one on the 19th. We missed the birth last year by only a few weeks :P

Sooner or later, one's gonna wind up poppin' out ON my birthday.

I watch this from time to time, to tide me over till the next visit.

The other thing, and not far related, comes from Steve...

The previous year I spent most of the con looking for a Super Deformed Tranzor-Z / Mazinger-Z, with absolutely no luck. I loved this show as a kid, and while I do realize it's not the masterpiece I remember, I have my memories. And they rock.

So I spent a small fortune on a Soul of Chogokin version, which was actually a better choice. I still toy with that thing when I'm bored.

But this year Steve returned from walking around with something that blew my fragile little mind...

And now I return to drawing this weeks guest strip.

He doesn't now this is coming yet, so we'll see if he actually runs it...

Update: Due to my own damn fault, the comic I've just completed will be running in November, so you'll have to wait a bit for it. However it will be in excellent company when it does run.

Nevertheless, I had to draw it now. Some things you have to draw when you get the idea ; )

Oh, and it's a weird one, lemme tell you...

Next week however is already green-lit, and it's one I should have done a looooong time ago ; )

Today I turn 30.

Good god.

Anyway, I'll be spending the bulk of the day running around Paragon City, trying to turn my lowly 7th level scrapper into something slightly less fragile. If by chance you're on the Virtue server, feel free to say hi!

The name is predictably, "Pandaboy"

And for the record, no the broadsword doesn't make a lick of sense for the outfit. I just like the costume.

The costume makes a hell of a lot more sense for my radiation defender on Freedom, who shares the same look (and name). But since few groups understand the mechanics of radiation in the game, I pretty much stopped trying to group with him.

But damn I love those mitts!
