Resized for the PSP
07.27.04 01:00 PM San Diego was unbelievable! I still can't believe the response we got :) First off, props are due to the following... Neil of Robot Sories and Dayfree Press for his networking skills, and all around rocking Mr. Madsen for the awesome book Everyone at Dumbrella for immediately absorbing all the money we made at our table ;) Dave Bort for the micro-stickers RPG World for blessed nostalgia shirts and the Megatokyo booth, just for knowing who we were :) ( I still owe you a sketch) We gave out a ton of postcards, drew a lot of sketches, and sold a surprising number of buttons. We held on to a few of everything, so if you're interested in getting some of the swag, get ready to hit that donate button and we'll send it to you :) We do still have a few T-Shirts left, which we'll be putting up for sale once Neil gets some breathing time ;) We'll be working out some package deals in the next week or so, for those who want everything... I will very shortly be ending the sketch stickers as a donation reward indefinately. The reason being I'm about to go into true overdrive here in an effort to get up to more than one update a week. This convention has taught me a good many things, and I realize now what I need to do if I want this strip to be truly successful. And updating only once a week does not fit in that future. Nor does switching to black an white. (so you can cancel that mob hit, you know who you are...) So if you want a sketch sticker, and you haven't already ordered one, do it right now. Because in a couple days I'm going to switch over to buttons, and after that we've got other merchandise waiting to be done. The sketch stickers are going to be retired for at least the next 6 months, and most likely more. I'll still have them for conventions, but that's not till sometime next year. As I discussed with a number of people this past week, I think it's important we have a book either by the end of the year, or early next year. I discovered very quickly that I could have made a mint had I had even a small book to sell. Everyone wanted to take the strips home, and I had nothing to give 'em ;( This will change... So most likely you'll see a book collecting everthing I've done over the past year, including the next few strips. I don't know yet if I want to include the old strips from early last year, they really don't fit in withe the current stuff. Feel free to email me with your opinions, I really want to hear your thoughts on this. It's gonna be a big project and I obviously want to get it done right. Sometime in the next few weeks I will still be doing a bit of a relaunch of the strip as planned, the changes are going to be somewhat different than what they were slated to be before the con, but I think it's going to be an all-round improvement. Let's just say for one thing, none of the strips from then on will be in the first print book. They wouldn't quite fit properly... Rock on all, I got work to do.
