Resized for the PSP
05.08.06 01:46 AM Well, in a storyline of this kind, you knew they were gonna show up eventually. Colors are frustrating. Especially when you're trying to adapt someone elses color scheme. This strip took a while longer than normal, but I think it worked out pretty good, all things considered. The next few strips are gonna be particularly fun to draw :) When I was coming up with this storyline I originally intended for everyone to be stage actors, and the differances between them were mostly going to be prop and genre related. PVP was going to be a more Shakespearian troupe than the rest, and most of the "actors" there were going to be statues. Those familiar with the way PVP is drawn may understand where that comes from, but I figured it was just too obscure even compared to the rest of this. Plus, he's changed some of his artistic ways over time, and I didn't feel he deserved that barb anymore. You may notice that the Little Gamers / Oh My Gods! strip is a bit reminiscent of that original idea though. But Achewood and the characters in this current strip both sprang up exactly as you see them right from the get go. After that, I decided to have everyone be not only differant kinds of actors or even puppeteers, but differant kinds of performers as well. I'm not nearly done, obviously, but I figure I'm far enough along that this tidbit won't really spoil anything now ;) Yap, yap, yap... Shirts are all back in stock, so those of you waiting for the mediums should be seeing them soon. I should be ordering a run of the panda shirts this week. I'll have an order page up soon.
